The sky IS falling, just ask the Greenies

GENEVA (AFP) – “Summer temperatures have risen sharply in most west European capital cities over the past 30 years, adding to evidence of the accelerating impact of climate change, the environmental group WWF said. […]Between 2000 and 2004, average temperatures in 13 of the 16 cities surveyed were at least one degree Celsius higher than during the first five years of the 1970s, the environmental organization said.”

Here come the bullet holes in their myth:

1.) How exactly are we only warming up certain parts of the world? Would this effect the entire globe at once? If not, then China MUST be about 10 degrees warmer than everywhere else right?
2.) If we are as powerful as the WWF would have us think, explain how we would warm up, or cool down the atmosphere if we wanted to. If we can do it by accident, surly there is a proven method to do it intentionally.
3.) We have made it for the last 100 years of industrial and transportation emissions, but right NOW, the world is close to ending.
4.) What do they really want to do? Do they really want the world back to horse and buggies? Now THAT would be some pollution… horse manure everywhere.

The point of all this is that this “sky is falling” doomsday prediction stuff is to generate funds from contributions. To think we actually impact the environment so quickly is more than egotistical and pretentious, it is down-right ludicrous.

Our most powerful and destructive weapon was used in Japan 60 years ago. This was worse than a million SUVs running full bore for a year. Guess what: Japan is still there, they still have an atmosphere, and life still thrives there. We need to get over ourselves.
