The Bush administration is objecting to the creation of a .xxx domain, saying it has concerns about a virtual red-light district reserved exclusively for Internet pornography.(CNet News)

Um, why? Because if we don’t have a special domain, then porn doesn’t exist? This is the single most effective way to eliminate unwanted visiting of porn sites.

I smell lobbyists at work here.
