The Bird Flu, Coming to a Town Near You?

In his first official press conference in four months, President Bush discussed a variety if important issues. Harriet Miers, oil refineries, Katrina, the economy, Iraq… and Bird Flu?

(Breitbart) In a wide-ranging news conference, Bush said he was considering whether the U.S. military should be used to help quarantine part of the country in the event of a pandemic of Avian bird flu. "I'm not predicting an outbreak," he said. "I'm just suggesting to you that we need to be thinking about it."

Mr. President, if it isn’t something we have to worry about, why are you brining it up in the Press Conference?
