Putting Things in Perspective (Bush Needs More $$$ for War)

WASHINGTON (AP) - President Bush would get $50 billion more for wars under a Senate bill that - if the House concurs - would push funding for Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts since the 2001 terrorist attacks beyond $350 billion.

I just thought to try and put this in perspective. The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have been going now since 2002. Roughly 3 years of two conflicts and two regime changes.

One hurricane and a flooded city, but Mayor Nagin and Gov. Blanco need $250 billion?

Whats good for the goose....
