Condi Has Compassion For the Poor

KATRINA: Condoleezza Rice: 'When it's rebuilt, it should be rebuilt in a different way than it was at the time that this happened... maybe now on the heels of New Orleans' there could be an effort to 'deal with the problem of persistent poverty'... (Drudge)

Nice play Condi, but before you make this statement, talk to others and make sure they are not doing things like catching ball games, eating birthday cake, watching Monty Python, playing guitars, or saying absurd things like Barbara Bush: "Everyone is so overwhelmed by the hospitality. And so many of the people in the arena here, you know, were underprivileged anyway, so this, this is working very well for them,"

Folks may take you a bit more serious, and maybe even (gasp) believe you if the other things wouldn't have preceded your nobel statement.
