Big Oil Will Pay for What They've Done! And Environmentalists Will Collect

A federal judge said environmental groups and four U.S. cities can sue federal development agencies on allegations the overseas projects they financially back contribute to global warming. (Breitbart.com).

Friends of the Earth, Greenpeace, and the cities of Boulder, Colo., Santa Monica, Oakland and Arcata, California will all jump in, under the legal council of Ronald Shems in Vermont.

Outstanding! Now, the environmentalist movement has a sure foothold to use financial blackmail on major pillars of the US economy!

Overseas Private Investment Corp. and the Export-Import Bank of the United States, government agencies that provide loans and insure billions of dollars of U.S. investors' money for development projects overseas, most of which are power plants; will now have to pay the piper… at least to the tune of the environmentalist movement.

Lets all give U.S. District Judge Jeffrey White of northern California a big round of applause. This legal precedent will wreak financial havoc on the United States economy, and insure no US affiliated agency will every again venture into giving the gift of power production to anyone overseas.

You think gas prices are high now, wait until this really gets rolling.

UPDATE:
This guy was nominated by Bush... hows that for irony?
