Iran Not Scared of UN Security Council... Shocker

Tehran does not fear the threat of U.N. Security Council action if it continues activities linked to uranium enrichment, the country's top negotiator said Friday. Ali Larijani said "With the power it enjoys in the region, there is no way that Iran can be worried about the threat of the Security Council.”

This is coming after an announcement that the IAEA will deliver a report on Sept 19th about Iran’s experiments with plutonium.

China, which views Iran as a key supplier of oil, and Russia, whose economic interests in the country include development of the Bushehr nuclear reactor, have opposed U.S. calls to haul Tehran before the U.N. Security Council.

Anyone else wonder why Iran wouldn’t be scared of the UN???
